Kata’s first dog training experience involved training seeing-eye dogs in Budapest, Hungary and over the course of her career she has also worked for groomers and as a veterinary assistant.
Kata graduated with honors from Animal Behavior College in 2007 and established Cave Canis with a focus on Obedience Training and Problem Behavior. She is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) and is an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator. She has changed the lives of unbalanced dogs in Boston, Chicago, Central Wisconsin, and Dallas where in 2016, she began working with gun dogs.
As a balanced trainer she believes that owners can achieve their goals if they take the time to train and to build a bond with their dogs.
She now lives in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina, where she trains and raises Wire-haired Vizslas with her husband Charlie and their three children.
She tests her dogs in both AKC and NAVHDA and hunts them in North Carolina, Virginia, and when the time allows her, they load up all the kids and dogs and take a road trip to Kansas.
